Firmware 3.7.0 & App 3.14.0 Releasing Tomorrow – Here’s What’s New!

We hope you're enjoying your Yarbo and making the most of its capabilities. We’re excited to announce the release of Firmware 3.7.0 and App 3.14.0, rolling out tomorrow! This update also includes Data Center firmware 1.0.24, which improves HaLow connection stability.

Important Compatibility Note

This update brings major improvements to map editing, making navigation more precise and efficient. Because of these enhancements, the latest app will not be compatible with previous firmware versions. To ensure a smooth experience, we will release both the firmware and app to all users simultaneously.

Rest assured, these updates have undergone rigorous testing by our internal team and our dedicated PPP members. Our support team is also ready to assist if you encounter any issues.

Update on the Obstacle Avoidance Feature for Snow Blower

Based on valuable testing feedback from our internal team and PPP members, we’ve made the difficult decision to delay the release of Obstacle Avoidance for the Snow Blower. Safety is our top priority, and we need more time to further refine the algorithms to ensure the best performance. We appreciate your patience and expect to release this feature by the end of March.

What You Need to Do

1. Ensure your Yarbo is powered on and connected to the internet – the update will install automatically.
2. To update the Data Center, connect via Bluetooth, download the latest firmware, and install the update.

Highlights of Firmware 3.7.0:

New Features:

1. Customizable Snow Throwing Direction – You can now set the snow-throwing direction when clearing the docking station.
2. Exterior Area Shrink Feature – Allows work area adjustments for both lawn mowing and snow blowing, optimizing coverage.
3. Dead-End Option for Sidewalks – Improves navigation efficiency for sidewalk clearing.
4. Slope Pattern for Snow Blower – Enhances performance when operating on slopes.

Optimizations & Fixes:

1. Fixed the issue where Yarbo would leave the designated work area during an auto work plan.
2. Optimized the issue where an auto plan could not be canceled.
3. Fixed random disconnections of the physical controller.
4. Fixed the issue where the app connected to the controller but could not control Yarbo.
5. Optimized return-to-charging path calculation, reducing unnecessary delays.

New Features:

1. Enhanced Mapping Interface – Improved usability for a smoother mapping experience.
2. Multi-Language Support – Now available in Danish, Norwegian, Japanese, German, and French.
3. Yarbo Status Icon – Displays Yarbo’s current working status for better tracking.
4. Slope Pattern for Snow Blower – Improves operation on slopes for more efficient snow clearing.
5. New Turning Method for Sidewalks – Introduces a "dead-end" option for better maneuverability.
6. Customizable Exterior Area Shrink Parameter – Available for Lawn Mower and Snow Blower, allowing more precise work area adjustments.
7. Map Drift Notification – Notifies users when map drift is detected, helping maintain accuracy.

Enhancements & Fixes:

1. Improved Data Center Setup Process – Streamlined for a more user-friendly experience.
2. Enhanced Background Display for Maps – Improved visuals for clearer navigation.
3. Better APP Interactions – Includes updates to the map lock button, page loading effects, and preview button.
4. Refined Text & Wording in APP – Improved clarity and consistency throughout the app.
5. Fixed the issue where the Blower's blowing direction could not be set on pathways.
