I have had some great fun playing with my Yarbo and it's Xbox style controller.
But having quite large hands and living in a really cold area thick winter gloves is a must most of the time. This has been a bit of an issue because I keep pressing multiple buttons especially around the ABXY, so wanting to lift or lower auger often leads to Yarbo turning on/off the light.
My biggest gripe is track control, I used to work with demolition robots for about a decade. They control each track separately with one stick for each, similar to how tanks and diggers also works. This help the operator maximize both control over turning and the possible traction.

These remote controllers have several modes depending on what kind of operation you want to use.

I find the control of Yarbo somewhat clumsy, often trying to do a 90⁰ turn ends up having Yarbo backing up because you didn't move the stick perfectly to one side.
I think controller profiles, possibly swappable with a button combination would be a good way to quickly change between different usage styles.
For example mode 1 could be each stick controls one track, mode 2 left stick controls both tracks and right stick controls auger angle up/down and throwing direction left/right for those time you have to actively change where you throw the snow.
